At The Whitechapel Mission, east london day centre open every morning of the year, serving breakfast and running a large clothing store
A team of one or two supports guests at the Advice Centre with benefits, housing and employment questions.
This one is open only to volunteers the Mission already knows; partner-company staff come first.
This house takes volunteer teams rather than individuals, so if you are on your own this is not one to sign up to. A workplace or community group can book a date.
It runs advice Centre opens at 8am each weekday. They ask for one day.
Their page does not say whether a DBS check is needed, which is worth asking before you commit. Book at least two weeks ahead so the checks can be done and the role explained.
